The Astronomy Club provides students a forum to share their enthusiasm for astronomy, both by regularly discussing the latest astronomy news but also by providing regular opportunities to observe the night time sky, both on and off campus. We also hope to increase awareness of astronomy on Campus and in the Wooster community through public observing nights.

Our mission is to introduce students to the cultural and emotional value, and art of ballroom dance. We host regular practices multiple days a week where students can explore both the competitive and social nature of ballroom. We also organize campus-wide events that promote unfamiliar dance styles and build community. Our aim is also to improve members’ communication skills, etiquette, and be a space for socializing. We hope to be inclusive of anyone with any interest in ballroom dance by allowing them to participate in lessons appealing to varying skill levels.

As Betas, Beta Kappa Phi adds to Wooster’s mission and vision by being a community where independent minds genuinely work together. We bring together people from all over the world and across many different majors, and that diversity shapes how we learn, lead, and show up for each other every day. In a campus built on rigorous learning and big questions, we extend that work beyond the classroom by creating a space where members can share perspectives, challenge assumptions, and grow into confident communicators and thoughtful decision-makers.
Our chapter also supports Wooster’s vision of preparing students for an interdependent global community by making global community feel personal. Because our backgrounds and academic paths are so different, we get real practice in listening, collaborating, and solving problems with people who hold differing perspectives. The mission of the Black Women's Organization is to promote self-love within Black women on campus by providing a space where Black women can showcase their full selves and feel accepted. This enables them to begin to re-imagine their size, gender, race, and age as assets that do not need fixing, instead, they can capitalize and build their careers around. BWO also serves to form these women into effective and active leaders on and off-campus by teaching them to specialize in ordinating campus-wide events that bring cultural awareness about the lived experiences of black women to the campus community.

Chasing International Dance Team is a dance performance group created to entertain and introduce our campus to many styles of dance. Chasing showcases global dance forms to emphasize its members’ cultural diversity by learning the dance styles of our members’ hometowns and backgrounds. The team learns several group-oriented dances each semester and hosts Showcases at the end of the fall and spring semesters. Chasing focuses on providing its members with leadership opportunities, concentrating on body awareness in technique, and bringing dancers together in community and spirit.

Cleveland Student Music Therapists will foster intellectual discussion about Music Therapy, advocate for the Music Therapy profession, attend and network with professionals at conferences, and perform community and campus outreach through group therapeutic music experiences.

Members will have the opportunity to learn about the field of Music Therapy from current Music Therapy students, non-major advocates, and professionals. Members will also have opportunities to participate in community events during which club members facilitate Music Therapy interventions with attendees. The College of Wooster Club Soccer team is a student-run club organization at the College of Wooster that was officially established in 2014. The purpose of this student organization shall be to bring people together to play soccer. The co-ed club is an inclusive yet competitive team that practices anywhere from 3-5 days a week. The club is open to students of all skill levels and actively promotes sportsmanship, friendship, and teamwork inside and outside the classroom. The club also serves as an exceptional medium to connect students of all ethnicities and backgrounds. Games against other schools are organized in a year-by-year basis against other colleges.

The mission of The College of Wooster Club Volleyball shall be to provide The College of Wooster’s
student body the opportunity to learn and play competitive volleyball no matter their skill level. We shall hold practices designed to develop competitive volleyball, and we shall hold and participate in
scrimmages and tournaments with other local club organizations. In addition to this, we intend to
continue advocating for, and demonstrating the possibility(necessity) of a competitive men’s varsity
volleyball team here at the college.

The purpose of Common Grounds is to provide a substance-free environment for Wooster students to hang out on campus. We are open Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday evenings. Common Grounds hosts theme nights, performances, and student organization collaborations. We provide inexpensive beverages and snacks, entertainment, and a safe space to study, play games, or hang out. We hope to provide an alternative to the drinking and partying scene of campus.

The purpose of this organization is to provide students, faculty, and staff the opportunity to exercise andde-stress in a fun and exciting way through Zumba fitness classes. As Zumba is not traditionally an American dance form and has only recently taken the fitness scene by storm, this club helps to spread the knowledge about and love for Zumba by getting the campus involved in weekly classes.

This organization of women will be called Delta Theta Psi. Delta, meaning change, represents our hope to grow and mature as a result of our sisterhood. Psi, meaning knowledge, represents what we will seek to obtain in all facets of our sisterhood, so that we may never be ignorant of another’s needs or how to fulfill them. The purpose of Delta Theta Psi is to foster a mutual understanding and acceptance of human nature. Through this, may we be better able to help each other intelligently deal with, solve, and grow through personal challenges and/or conflicts inside or outside of the sisterhood. By rising above any internal difficulties, we will facilitate the undertaking of any task we set our minds to, as a whole or as individuals. Don't Throw Shoes Comedy Improv Troupe is the College of Wooster's comedy improv group and has been a part of the Wooster campus culture for many years.
